Quick start

Signup to a printed badge in about ten minutes. Five steps; the rest of the docs are deep dives on the same flow.

1. Create an account

Visit badgebadger.app/signup and sign up with your work email. We’ll send a verification link. After verifying you land on the dashboard with an empty organisation.

2. Install the Print Agent

On the computer that’s connected to your card printer, install the BadgeBadger Print Agent. Download links live on the dashboard (look for “Install Print Agent”) or under Settings → Print agents. Walkthrough: Install the Print Agent.

3. Pair the computer

Open the agent and click Pair this computer. Your browser opens to BadgeBadger pre-filled with the workstation’s identity; one confirm and you’re done. Walkthrough: Pair your computer.

4. Add an employee + a template

From Employees → New, add yourself as a test record (name + photo). From Templates → New, pick a starter template — that’s your design.

Skipping the design step? The starter gallery has CR-80 templates for amusement parks, schools, churches, gyms, and offices.

5. Print your first card

From the employee’s page, click Print. The printer picker shows your local printer with the OS default highlighted; pick one and confirm. The card prints silently within a couple of seconds.

That’s it
